Description: Always a cartoonist, Tomas naturally created his own landmark “selfie” cartoon. The father of two of my long-ago AP Art students, Tomas and his family are now dear friends. I found a profile photo of him in a uniquely quiet moment gazing reflectively into distant space and felt compelled to use it (with his trademark Tom) as a tribute to a wonderful man; a wonderful artist.
