Description:   Back in the day, I’d made hand-colored photographs a side-line. Fast forward many years and technologies; I took a workshop in hand-coloring photos at the U of the Arts in Philadelphia. Experimenting with all the supplies and tools put out for us, and choosing from among black and white photo donations, I had an epiphany: this was a hugely liberating experience! Especially when the original image was not one of my making!
