Description:  The task was to identify and express our “power animals” in clay. My demo (co-production) included a buffalo,a turtle, a female torso, a dove, a snake, an owl, an eagle and lower on the pole was a squirrel with its tail spiraling up and around the lower animals. After initial firing, all animals were subjected to the Raku fire and trash cans filled with dried leaves and other organic matter.
