Grasping crayon/s tightly in his/her little fist, our little artist locates the apple’s center on the paper and frantically spirals round and around and around the point, getting redder and redder and bigger and bigger! That innocent, direct and vibrant essence is what I was hoping for with oil ink on the monotype plate.
